Katherine started to write her own songs at a young age, touring theatres and festivals in and around Yorkshire, but it was her move to London that encouraged her passion for Electronic music. Katherine joined a small independent label and received airtime on pirate radio stations across London, as well as performing a handful of gigs alongside House names Dina Vass ('The Love I Have for You') and Shelly Nelson (Tin Tin Out- 'Here's Where the Story Ends').
In an effort to muscle her way into the Electronic music scene, Katherine uprooted to Ibiza. Within her time there she performed at prestigious Ibiza superclub, Space; had residencies across the island including Itaca and KM5; performed at Ocean Beach Club; and appeared as the guest vocalist for Pukka Up boat parties. Katherine teamed up with DJ duo MNVI & AMC to record her first EP and each track was released by labels across Europe and the UK, including Hoxton Whores' label Whorehouse.
Returning to the UK, Katherine joined forces with Gallery (Ministry of Sound) resident hosts, Elevation Audio. She was the chosen vocalist to feature on their debut vocal release, 'Endeavour', teaming up with Elevation founder, Lewis Duggleby (Godskitchen, Lock N Load) for the track. The single appeared as a featured release on Beatport and following this, Katherine performed at legendary London club Ministry of Sound as well as the Rhythm Factory; Cargo; O2 Shepherdâs Bush Empire and Trance scene favourite, Friendz boat party. Since then Katherine has performed at the highly respected Trance event, 'Trance Sanctuary', sharing the line-up with acts such as Sneijder and John OâCallaghan.
It was on a night out that Katherine met with Trilucid (Anjuna/ Armada/ Black Hole) and after some time collaborating, 'Stay' was released on Infrasonic Recordings. The track was received well across the scene earning an 8/10 review from established DJ magazine, 'Mixmag'. Katherineâs next track, with producer duo Leolife, was voted onto the '#Hot or Not Most Wantedâ EP, courtesy of Giuseppe Ottaviani and his 'Go On Air' radio show listeners. The track,âEvokeâ, was subsequently released with Black Hole Recordings. Her follow up single with Andy Tau gained support from Markus Schulz; Solarstone; and Aly & Fila who played it out on the first Future Sound of Egypt podcast for 2016. Katherine released âFallâ, once again with Infrasonic Recordings and later teamed up with Andres Sanchez signing this next collaboration to Manuel le Sauxâs label, Extrema Global Music.
As well as her single releases, Katherineâs music has featured on a variety of podcasts and compilation albums. In addition she has received support from various renowned DJs and labels including Armada, ASOT, Paul Van Dyk, Roger Shah, Audrey Gallagher, Cream, Goodgreef, Artisan and Darren Porter. Aside from her interests in Trance Katherine writes for a selection of genres including House, EDM and Drum'n'Bass. Her self-released acoustic version of 'Stay' was used as a promotional feature when Katherine appeared in the Daily Telegraph supplement.
Katherine is now looking forward to the release of her most recent collaboration, 'I Gotta Let You Know' with The Thrillseekers. Already receiving airtime from Ferry Corsten, Markus Schulz, FSOE and being named ASOT's 'Progressive Pick', the track has gained momentum in advance of it's release on the 19th June 2017.
