Hi! I'm Tolga, 28 November 1990. I enjoy living in the beautiful city of Graz with my beautiful wife Eva. Currently finalizing my higher studies (MSc.) Computer Science in Graz University of Technology. Received a Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering as a honour graduate. I have hands on practical experience in the fields of Requirements & Verification Management as well as Robotics and Embedded Systems. At the moment, I am enjoying having the chance of working in this beautiful city at Infineon Technologies AG; learning from and sharing with extremely talented people at my company.
I have the hobby of having different hobbies :) like fishing (responsibly), cooking(from all around the world), camping (in the wild), martial arts (taekwondo, kickboxing and muay tai), musical instruments (guitar and ney), DJing (I love try and combining classical turkish music with house music) and of course; gaming (computer), like most of the other nerds out there :) I like writing about my hobbies too!
I like being aware of the little details in this world, which may have greater importance in future.
I think art and science are the pillars of civilization. I feed on beautiful arts for creativity! Mmmh! yummy...

Complexity? Give it to me :) I enjoy tearing them up in little sweet pieces and extract some patterns. I love my pinky, pattern glasses that i see the world through.
Everyday before I go to sleep, I ask myself: 'Did what I have done today satisfy my professional passion ?, What should I achieve tomorrow?' I see every new sunrise like a candy shop full of new ideas and knowledge. When there is a problem to solve, I can't help but smile excitedly, because that's why I am here.

Design and Development Intern
Worked in the Design & Implementation team at the project:Hobbit as an intern, which is an advanced social partner robot. Worked for the design of a low-cost absolute rotary encoder which can sense for 270 degrees. Studied Robot Operating System, participated in development of 'nitinol' finger control hardware for the robotic hand. Had the chance to learn from extremely talented people.

Part Time Embedded SW & Robotics Developer
Achieved developing a software for Non Destructive Testing Devices -pseudo coloring xray images- which has organic/inorganic detection ability. The Search&Destroy robot using the system was designed for detecting the density of the materials in suspicious packages. Conducted research activities in addition.

This graph shows my typical work process, how I usually work and what is my workflow
I always start with making a domain research about the topic I'll be working on. Depth of this research is related on the topic
Then I check the existing ideas for the project to gain a better insight.
After the research phase, i think of possible cases that i can test my possible implementation, and make sketches using just pen and paper! This saves me more time for the future :)
Thanks to first three phases, my implementation generally does not take more than it has to.
So I can see my results and evaluate them for refinements or go back in my steps if necessary.

My humanoid robot project!
Robot arm prototype designed and built by myself, whose later on larger version was built to use in a cosmetics factory for pick & place
One of the many advanced line follower robots i have built, which has got many awards among various robotic competitions. Used PID control for optimization, got multiple awards in competitions.
I have a high motivation for interesting work. I love what I do and I try to be creative, responsible and polite.
